The Dog Park Ballet

This is goofy, I know, but if you are interested, it consists of 9 posts, starting with Before the Curtain rises, I suggest you scroll down and watch them in reverse order. I wasn't smart enough to post in the correct order.

The Dog Park Ballet- Final Act

As the curtain prepares to come down, all eyes are drawn to the other baby ballerina, Monroe. She is having none of the tussle- life is too short. A little snooze in the grass is the good life.

The Dog Park Ballet- Act 5- Old friends

Poppi sees old pal Brownie- they have done many performances together. This elevates the mood on the stage.

The Dog Park Ballet- Act 4 The sisters battle

Baby Baloo thinks about intervening in the sisterly battle of Poppi and Mocha- then thinks better of it

The Dog Park Ballet-Act 3, Scene 2

The Dog Park Ballet- Act 3 The battle of the generations

Baby ballerina Baloo expresses her frustration with the "old ways", taking it out on the prissy ballerina Poppi. Of course, Poppi is having none of it.

The Dog Park Ballet- Act 2 Dashtardo

The action intensifies as Dashtardo arrives stage left. He creates quite a frenzy with his break dance version of the ballet

The Dog Park Ballet-Act 1

A DogPark Ballet- Places Everyone

The veteran ballerinas and danseurs move effortless to their places. Afterall, they've done it a thousand times before. Some even do a bit of stage backscratching for good luck.

The Dog Park Ballet-Before the curtain rises

I must be in the sun too much, but I was thinking that a the dog park has a certain rhythm beauty and balance, kinda like a ballet. This is very corny I know.

Before the curtain rises, the audience gathers and all is quiet as stagehands methodically prepare.

This sign used to bother me

I enjoy a glass or wine or two

Until I read the whole sign

What Part of

"Limited to Dogs 30 lbs and Smaller" do you NOT understand!

INVASION OF THE KILLER TARANTULA HAWK

The eerie silence of a hot, steamy, slumberous night was broken by blood curdling shrieks and screams as the presence of a Tarantula Hawk (wasp) was discovered. It was at least a foot long, wing span of three feet (wink) . But have no doubt, our trusty park humans sprang into action. It the THREE, count em, THREE humans to kill this creature. Carnage like this has not been seen since the Prairie Dog massacre of the Spring of 2010.

The blog

Ok, I got this going, but the idea is to have more people post pics, stories, general chat etc. I am still learning how to use this one, but it seems I can add people as posters. My email is msember@aol.com. If you would like to be able to post, could you send me your email address? Thanks
Also, thanks to John for contacting the County parks department and getting the leak fixed. Ollie will miss the mud but the rest of us will not. We have several followers now, I think I know who most of you are, but next time you seem me could you let me know who you are, I am the old, short fat guy with the two wire haired doxies, Mocha and Poppi. Thanks
